As the weather heats up in Nelson, it’s an excellent time to begin transitioning to your summertime makeup routine. That often means fewer and lighter products and maybe a few new colours too! Read on for some tips to help you get ready for summer!

Getting the foundations right:

Even with the best SPF, your skin tone will likely change in summer. With that in mind, it’s time to check the colour of your foundation is still working with your complexion. You may also want to use another type of foundation. Some clients switch from a liquid foundation to a loose mineral-style foundation for lighter coverage. Some choose to ditch the foundation altogether, using a tinted moisturiser or BB cream instead. Whatever style you choose, ensure you have good SPF coverage.
