If women deserve to relax, so too do men! Father’s Day is just around the corner, and the third Friday in August is annually recognised as Men’s Grooming Day. So, with that in mind, we thought we should write this article with the fellas in mind. At Woman Beauty in Nelson, we offer several packages and spa treatments for men.

Here are four tips for men who might be unfamiliar with Spa Treatments:

Tell us if you’re a newbie:

If it’s your first time visiting us for a spa treatment, we want to know. That way, we can answer any questions for you, and offer a more in-depth description of the treatment you’re about to have, and the benefits you can expect to see. We know that some men initially feel uncomfortable with the touchy-feely aspects of some of our spa treatments. Once you’ve had a chat to us, we believe that you will feel assured that we are all highly-trained, professional therapists. We will always respect your privacy and personal space.

Get the most from your facial:

If you have booked a facial with us, try not to shave on the day of your treatment. That said, you don’t want days of growth either. You want your skin to soak up all the benefits of the professional products we apply during your facial. Ideally, we recommend that you shave on the evening before your facial.

Don’t rule out a Pedi:

A Pedi isn’t all about the polish! Your feet take between 8,000 and 10,000 steps a day, and they deserve to be rewarded for that work. Our eagle-eyed therapists have been known to spot early signs of corns, bunions and fungal infections. We can’t treat them, but we can warn you about them, so you can get them treated! While we’re talking extremities, don’t forget to take care of your hands too. Our ‘No Fuss’ manicure will leave you looking groomed and professional.
